so it's been forever...

Wow, okay guys, so college seems to have changed a lot of things and I know I haven't been active on here for what, 6 months now? I guess this may not qualify as being "forever", but for some reason, I've caught myself being awake at 2:45am thinking of you guys. I know I kind of dropped off here, and I realize I abandoned my group too...but man, has college been wonderful. I'm not sure how many of you will read this, I'm not sure how many of you will see this, and I'm not sure how many of you will care...but here I am. I'm hoping to reintegrate into dA and some of my other online communities...but I'm just not sure how much yet.
So, let's have an update, then.
I've been at Western Washington University since last fall, and will be enthusiastically returning late September. I've been accepted into the Studio Art major program, along with the business administration and art history minor programs. So far I've taken three art history classes, and two basic studio classes. Fall quarter, I'm starting with some upper level art history, more studio, other art history and business law (not excited for that one). I've met some great people and made a few great friends up there, and I'm super excited to return to Bellingham.
During the last few months of college and these first couple months of summer, I kind of realized how much college has changed me (in a good way), mentally and physically. First of all, I'm more comfortable with myself and in my own skin, which is something that I did not expect. I mean, I actually care about my well-being more, and put more effort into myself than when I entered college...which I didn't know was something I needed. I've also left with a more open attitude, I feel as though I've gained more confidence, and I've realized that I need a few good people in order to be happy. I've also actually finally gotten a job for over the summer, where I actually seem to have some importance, and people trust my skills.
Okay, now down to business...
I'm going to take some time to go through my messages...and there are a load of them so we'll see how that goes.
